Want some opinions on an opener I just spurted out the other day. This is primarily aimed at the women in the group. But look for the men's opinions as well.

Hey guys I got a quick question for you. Doesn't matter if you smoke or not. I've noticed that a lot of women who smoke seem to leave home with cigarettes but not with a lighter or matches. Is that intentional? or Why do you think that is?

The focus isn't supposed to be the act of smoking but the reason why women seem not to bring lighters with them. I've noticed some good threads that can develop from this. Conversation or debate about smoking, manipulative females, etc. So this is the first time I've tried to come up with my own opener... let me know what you think.

i don't like cigarettes, but i ALWAYS bring a lighter with me when i go out. it has been a crucial "wing" so to speak, in many of my set openings

Oh I absolutely agree... now do you hand them the lighter or do you light the cigarette for them? =p

i light it for them, unless for whatever reason they dont let me, they dont get my light
