I made this up, don't know if its out there or if it's not. Haven't tried it out either.
Its a 2 part question. Tell me if it sucks or not.

- Hey, let me get your quick oppinion on something..
- Okay
- Before I tell you the issue there is a 2 part question. Why I'm asking you are because me and my friends could not decide this without a womens oppinion... Between men and women, who has the best sence of fashion.
- Women will always say women I think
- Okay, but here comes the other question. Who has the best sence of fasion between gay guys and women?

and kablam the women can't say sh*t because gay guys take more care of them selves then f**king cats. and this will make them have mixed oppinions too.

Maybe this one already excist, and i would not be surprised either.
But is it good or not?

It's interesting, I'll give you that much.

I could actually see this one working in my area.

My favorite hang out has an artistic crowd where there's a relatively equal distribution of straight, bi and gay people to be found. You could probably come in with this opener and approach any set of people for the purposes of building social value at the least.

Just have fun with it, and maybe just skip the whole "2 part" crap to trim it down a bit. Toss that out as part of the conversation if it doesn't come up, or...

"Hey, could I get your opinion on something? My friends and I were having a debate and I was hoping you could settle it. Who has the best fashion sense, men or women?"
(they start talking yada yada and if they just plain say "women")
"But don't forget about gay guys, some of them/these guys take good care of themselves"
"If it were just between gay guys and women what would you say?"

or something like that... make it flow a little more natural.

If you are into fashion or whatnot you can go around the room and make comparisons, feel free to neg the target if she deserves it or just as a playful little joke. Then you can just happen to notice other things (the place I go has a lot of artwork on the walls which makes for easy conversation) or work for a way to transition from there.
