Although I'm new to the pua community I wanted to come up with some of my own shit rather than.... well being what a pua isn't supposed to be: like everyone else.
I've field tested this opener only 6 times but have gotten pretty good results (4 reached hook point, 1 completely flopped, and the other something in between) so I wanted to share.
Mens Rea: Hey guys, my friends and I are checking to see whether what our friend [insert female friend name] read in one of those girls magazines is true.
Set: ok
Mens Rea: Apparently more than 70% of the time close friends have the same... well let me just see for myself.
[Then motion to the girl standing next to you in the circle to bring her head closer to yours because you are trying to look at something in her face. Within seconds it becomes obvious that you are looking into her eyes.]
Mens Rea: Ok, now let me see yours. [motioning to the next girl in the set].
[At this point, I have noticed that more often than not someone in the group will ask "what are you looking for?" You have a couple options here, which I am still trying to field test as to being the best one. However, you can either neg the person (especially if they are your target) with a classic, "my god wait your turn. Is she always like this?" or you can tell them that you are looking for something similar in everyone's eyes being somewhat vague and disinterested in the question being posed.]
Mens Rea: Ok great. Now let me see yours... there we go.
etc. etc.
Eventually, you tell them:
Mens Rea: Alright. wow. I can't believe. It was right/wrong. I was checking to see if everyone had the same eye color in the group. The article said that groups of friends have the same eye color 70% of the time. blah blah blah blah
What makes this opener so great is that it gives you an opportunity to (1) establish incidental kino with each person in the set by getting very close to their face, (2) making close eye contact with each girl thereby building sexual tension and yet this eye contact only occurred because it's "just part of the test", (3) DHV-ing when you are right (which believe it or not half the time you will be).
I ran this opener twice in the day time and it was then that i got the best results. The reason being I think because the girls had an opportunity to see my eye color (green) and that was a point of attraction for them In those cases, I got at least one girl in the group if not two to give me a full blown smile as I was "inspecting" them.
Even in the bar settings I ran this opener in, I still got good results because (I think) people love to know what other people think of their eyes.
Anyway, I'd love for others to field test this and confirm that it's getting results. The only hard part I've noticed is getting the first girl to comply. Once she does and looks up at you the rest will follow in suit. If she refuses you're best bet is to neg her ("you're not a team player are you") and move onto the next girl.
