What are soap opera openers?

- Soap Opera openers are openers which you get the interest of your target by asking something about it An example?
-Hey guys, did you see blah blah last night?Can you tell me what happened when blah and blah?
or:
-Hey,can you tell me what happened at this episode?I missed it last night and i regret it now.

Ehh I cannot see this being relevant.

This will probably drop you straight into the pot of friendship.

However if you were to say something along the lines of "You look so much like (insert famous pretty celebrity) I bet you probably have some people taking pictures of you when you hit the town. "hi my name is ...."

This is unique, playful and unintrusive.
