It's always pissed me off how some girls have height requirements, and I want to combat that by pursuing girls significantly taller than me.
I've had some success in the past, but I'd like to do better.

Basic info:
5'8 (174cm for you metric dudes), and pretty light, 145-150 range (66kg-68kg for you metric dudes). Girls I like to pursue are 5'10 at least. Every now and then the 5'8 in heels, or the occasional 5'4 Asian girl with the 5'10 minimum height requirement

Personally, I go straight in and just tell then "Hey.. I like tall girls " . Of course there are the girls who are like "I don't like shorter"... What's a good response to this...?

Never talk with a girl about her looks ! PUA is the exception not the rule.
Every guy will tell her that she's tall. You need to bee different than all the others.
Think something creative.

Ask her : Which way should toilet paper roll ?

It is playful and non-threatening. And then next routine, throw a neg, but not "You are really huge, can you dunk ?" Something that's not about her height.

I've opened a few tall girls with "You're so tall, I fucking love it." I've never had a bad reply to it -- but with that said, the girls were all tall and model attractive I'm not sure if it would work on a less attractive girl.

how about not drawing attention to it, instead don't show that your insecure about your height to her, and don't negatively validate her until some superficial comfort has been created between the two of you (bring her up before you tease her or draw attention to something she might be insecure about)

i would say open as usuall with no comment about HEY HOLY FUCK YOUR TALL, etc.
just open like normal, if a girl gives you IOD on your height calibrate to it, with an IOD about her height,

HER: how tall are you? I only date guys over 5'10,
YOU:*look to one of her friends* does this girl allways look down on people... from up there? (then change subject quick don't even let them answer)

I had one small chick who opened me who kept jumping while talking to me. I always thought that was adorable. Maybe that could work if you are going for a cutesy first impression.

This is what u do: open friendly/funny. Do not bring up the height first off. Its already first thing noticed and chances are she won't say anything. Joke, build comfort compliment and totally ignore it. Get her number. Wait 3 days start texting her, build comfort......then Right b4 u hook her in ask HER how tall she is. Then insist u "prefer to date taller girls because its more a challange bcz most girls arre shallow and won't give a shorter guy time of day" she will respond 90% of the time w "I'm not shallow I always feel like I'm to tall" or I have many of short guy friends. By asking her and following this u are showing her ur confident and don't care what people think of ur height......trust me bro I been doin it my whole life I'm 5'3 1/2 5'5 w shoes and have banging a lot of tall girls my entire life. Tallest 5'11
