there is this girl, i first saw her in my school in one of my classes. i never approach her, however, she did notice me in class. then one time i stop by a subway and she was there with her mom, i just walk in and out. so the other day i went to macy's and there she was behind the counter. i'm really looking forward to pull her number.
she is a cashier so this means that i don't have much time.

I was thinking in buying something and say something like, hey somehow I keep bumping into you! followed by some school bs then ask her name. but i dont know if i should ask for her number at that time or be like " we should keep the conversation going" if she smiles and says yes then ask her to if she want to go for a coffee after work?

Ok spin it around, it sounds boring esp if she is hot, she'll have had all that crap before. Just throw some funny comments her way and maybe ask her a question to get you chatting lilke I just bought this top for my brother but i couldn't resist and had to wear it instead, what do you think. Or ask her where you can buy something, maybe something interesting that can lead in to you DHV and telling her about an interesting hobby you do....

Basics, try not to ask for her number atleast not directly.

Ask her how you can this awesome conversation going.... or try to get her to ask you.
