I go to the grocery store every 3 or 4 days and I approach 2 people every time I do but I ask them a question then walk away and for the rest of the people instead of saying hi I nod at them... I don't have a liscense yet but for now that's really all I can do, Does that count and what can I do to get good at daygame approaches fast? thanks

It sounds like you're only doing things that you're already pretty comfortable with doing. Next time you go to the grocery store, do the things you that you are already comfortable doing, then push it ONE step further. So, after you ask one or two people a question and walk away (to get warmed up a little) then ask somebody a question and keep talking to them for 30 seconds. You have to keep going to be next level or you will never make improvements.

The bottom line, is there is no "fast" way to get good. It all depends on how much YOU can push YOURself. The next time you go to the grocery store, you should use the momentum of doing these warm up approaches to do an actual approach. Are there any openers that you've thought about using?

All I got is, "hey have you seen this movie" and thats in the electronic section of walmart..I have no idea what to ask anywhere else in the place.

Ok, well for daygame a big part of it is simply opening and then making the girl laugh a little (i.e stupid jokes, role plays etc), having a NORMAL conversation and then qualifying.

You can use opinion openers during the day if you want to go indirect (don't let anybody tell you that you can't use opinion openers during the day. You CAN)

You can pretend to be on the phone talking about whatever the opinion opener you'r gonna use is. Then, you just turn and ask the girl her opinion on it.

OR for instance, to expand on YOUR idea for opening, instead of just saying "Hey have you seen this movie?", you can take a really cheesy movie off the shelf and be like "Hey, I could tell you were looking for this. Its, OK. I know your embarrassed and you didn;t want to admit it, but you were here to buy xyz cheesy movie. blah blah blah" Don't worry about finding the right movie. It doesnt matter. Practically anything will work.

But, I would say that you should start by opening seated sets. They are really easy during the day time. You can go direct OR indirect, whatever you want. And by sitting down at the table with her, it will FORCE you to have a conversation and not just walk away after 2 seconds.
