Location: Elmhurst, IL | | Well, I'd say it was the first approach I've truthfully made. Opened a 3-set tonight, luckily I just moved to the area so I made up a simple openeer on the spot "Hey, I just moved here, do you all know of any places better than this?" (the place we were at was kinda lame) and well it all went from there. Long story short my roomie (and well current, newly introduced to the game wing) and I each pulled a number.
Im thinking this could be a great approach, hell even if you are from the area you can pretend not to be. They did ask us multiple times where else we could go but my roommate and I truthfully just moved to SoCal from Chicago like 2 weeks ago so we had nothing.
