When even I'm ordering a drink at a bar and there's a chick next to me, I try, "You should try the green eggs and ham here, I heard it's the tits."

At the bar is a good place, the girl knows she can leave at any time to take the drinks back to her friends. Also, you already have the girl alone so you won't get any heat of her friend(s) (such as if they start feeling left out). It's fine to just man up and casually approach a group, add something to their night and you will get nothing but a positive response. Be clear, confident, and smile, aviod being creepy, stupid or too drunk.

Thanks for the advice guys! I actually quit drinking till I go back to college in August. Trying to get a little leaner (drop about 15 lbs), and tone up. So being drunk, or beingcreepy won't be a problem!

first of all don't stand near any of the girls you wanna open a set with untill you are ready to open the set, it gives you lower value... do not buy the girls a drink men of high value gets drinks bought for them(saying such as "geez woman at least buy me a drink before you hit on me like that") then just stack on. its basically the same as anywhere else just follow the ACS outline and you should have no problem at all

as a general rule never buy a girl you just met/opened to a drink. As the poster said above have the girl buy YOU drink. I know it sounds crazy at first but you either end up with a free drink or the girl thinks its funny and bam there is your opener/stack.

don't make it obvious you are looking for a target, scan the room casually as you take a sip of your drink. I've never done solo hunting at a bar or club so I am going to assume you are with your wings. Go out have a fun time no pressure you are out to be with friends, anything that happens on top of that is just a bonus.

Don't work yourself up thinking you have to close, sure that is every man's dream but putting too much pressure on yourself will only work against you. Keep your ears open sometimes a set may be talking about something you have genuine knowledge on and that would also be an instant opener before your steer the conversation to suit your needs.
