real time constraints

let's say you wish to spark a conversation with a girl before class, or a girl while you wait in line for something like a grocery store. Since there are implied time constraints already class will start, have to buy items or whatever it is... does that mean you don't need to use a false time constraint?

No, not at all.

Think about it: if you're sitting in class, are you really going to say "Let's keep it quick, I've got to start paying attention in class soon!"?

No, you won't.

The time constraint is implied, so you don't need to give it any attention.
