Every shop I go to whether it's a clothing store or starbucks, there are always at least 1 or 2 HBs working there. Sometimes I usually get eye contact and a smile while I'm browsing but I'm guessing it's part of their job to be friendly and I shouldn't really take it as a genuine IOI.

One of the things to remember is they have to talk to you, and they cant just brush you off. And since she works there you can walk right up an open her risk free. Just off the top of my head..

Starbucks: An american coffee shop right? Go in and ask about different types of coffee there are (not just the ones in starbucks). THen bust on her when she doesnt know shit about it- which Im guessing she wont. And even if she does, it doesnt matter you have a convo going.

Clothing store: 100's of openers to use here. Pretend your shopping for your little nephew or something. Then ask something like "which of these jumpers is more popular with the 5 year olds"... usually for me that gets them laughing. And if she doesnt know (or doesnt laugh) bust on her for not knowing her market.
