Hi guys, looking for a bit of advice...

I'm going on holiday with a mate this week, and I'm keen to kick-start some pick-up. I tend to find that once I'm engaged in conversation with girls I can hold my own and can sometimes take it to the next level, but all too often it's the approach that stumps me.

Anybody have any tips for general day game by the pool openers or even stuff to try in bars?

I like the idea of sparking a girl's interest with an interesting, unexpected question or remark, but I'm struggling for ideas as I'm fairly new to it all. I have done something similar to what Chief suggested in one of his posts, making small-talk with random women, some environmental openers, that kind of thing, but I'm keen to kick on.

Any tips or hints would be much appreciated chaps.
