Im working on new routines that is math based (ie the material i have been working on is based on Calculus, Pythagoreanism, Ancient Greek mathematics, etc) and i need an opener that is center on math/arithmetics. The opener doesn't have to be fancy (i would dig it better if it isnt). Does any body know of any?

I tried using Mystery's 9s Gambit (how many nines from one to 100) but to me it doesnt work well as an opener. Im mostly a day game type of guy so it would probably work better at night if i were to use it as an opener but i dunno.
Im looking for something that can be followed by explaining ancient greek mathematics or Carl Gauss' Summation formula (yup im a full time geek! =P).
