A friend told me that a good way to come across as mysterious would be to joke about your name, say your name was ryan and you introduced yourself as ted for example and then joked "do i look like a ted to you?". Well he gave me the idea, what about creating a little game about it. The last party i went to the girls came up to my group who was just arriving and introduced themselves to each of us and we did likewise. My thought was it would be fun to introduce yourself as one name to one person, and then blatantly introducing yourself as another name to another person, creating a little mystery. And when they asked for your real name you can jokingly say "you are going to have to earn that" or something. Any thoughts on this would be awesome, i'm just getting into the game and i wasn't really aiming to create any techniques but this one just popped into my head. Any changes or tweaks would be awesome!

This could work. Beware though, do not overdo it. If you milk it you just become anoying.
