On my way to the bathroom in a crowded bar the other night, I saw this 4 set just chilling in the hall in between the mens and womens restroom. I really had to go, but I didn't want to miss an opportunity to open a set, so I did the turn shoulder approach and asked to the effect of:

"Excuse me... I need to ask you guys a question... Is this the line for the men's room?"

I was pointing at the HB right in front of me when I said this. Now the tone I said this in really had an affect. It was the first thing that came to my mind to open, and I said it in such a genuine manner.

The look on their faces was needless to say priceless.

Thinking back on why it worked, I believe it was a subtle neg that right off the bat lowered their bitch shields. It disqualified me, and was also a false (in this case true) time constraint. It was also interesting, and a conversation starter.

I ended up going into a couple of routines before my bladder started to burst.

Any feeback, or if any of you all have ever tried this let me know.. but in a given situation similar to the scenario, I'm definitely going to try that opener again.
