Hey guys, basically a HB9 i opened tonight who was standing by herself

"Hey you look lost what's on on your mind?"

She tells me she lost her Black Berry blah blah...

I try to build kino from the start and give her a hug, she gives me a half hearted hug. Nonetheless I still try to run game, I asked her "Where was the last place you saw it"... she responds, I say "I'm sure it will turn up", I ask for her name and she tells me I am just not in a talkative mood... I pretty much bail out, because her friends came a long and she was the hottest in her group.

Any thoughts guys? (reading this now I'm guessing you may say I should have gamed her friends to get at her for a later date...lol) other than that any other thoughts?

No, I SAY "I'm sure it will turn up". I just wanted to get off the topic of her phone because it was a obviously a huge negative, but maybe to huge to overcome...

yeah, you should have been more concerned. Atleast gave her your phone to call her phone. That way you could have her num, and build kino while looking for it.
that was complete damsel in distress.

I'd be pretty pissed if I lost a phone worth more than 200 dollars.

Screen out the girls till you find one that's mutually interested.

There would be tons of lines to use if the phone wouldn't have been so expensive but they are right.You shouldn't have bailed out you should just have walked away.Imagine you lost your Blackberry and your mom starts talking to you. You would say "Mom shut it for a moment I'm looking for my phone."

yeh definitely like the idea of giving her your phone to call it then you look like the gentleman

i dont believe any topic...ok well there is exceptions. but a good pua can turn any topic into one that will win a girl over. keep it playful, in a situation like that you can always try the *the two of us against the world* technique. like something like oh god that happened to me last week, its so aggrivating. come on lets go look for it/ ask someone who is in charge of wherever you are (ie in a hotel, the reception desk)

you can always stall so that you can increase comfort and then take her mind off it a bit by saying something like "oh god really? i think i just saw a phone in (place)" just make sure you dont sound creepy or like ur trying to lure her off

lastly if you are at an absolute loss you just say "oh are these ur friends? im sure they'll be much more help then me but i'll let you know if i see anything" smile and wink then hope you see her again later when she is in a better mood.

She just lost her phone and so she is pissed. Why do you want to game a girl who is pissed.

There are already some great responses here. Def a damzel in distress situation and it would be a great opportunity to add value to her by giving her advice on how she can remedy the situation e.g.

1. Have you called the phone company and had it barred / checked there are no call records.
2. Have you asked around the bar staff (or wherever she thought she may have lost it) to see if anybody has found it?
3. Have you got insurance on your phone, do you need to get a police report?
4. Do you need to borrow my phone to contact your friends etc?

She was probably upset, panicky and didn't know what to do. Giving her guidance and serious advice is a mad DHV.

Careful note: Do not run around after her calling the phone company and searching for her phone - if you become her slave boy this is a DLV and also a sign of an AFC. Just give her advice and coach her on how to execute it, like you would do a friend - and force HER to take action.
