I was in a bar that has a few arcade games and one of those stupid basketball games with the moving hoop. There was a ridiculously hot blonde in the other side of the bar, by far the hottest girl in the place. Great face, great body, dress that was clinging perfectly.

I walked by her to get to the bathroom. When I came out I though, what do I have to lose? I approach her from behind, touch her at the elbow

Me: Are you up for a challenge?
Her: (funny look) What kind of challenge?
Me: The basketball game.
Her: (grabs her purse) I am so gonna kick your ass!

She and her hot asian friend followed me to the other end of the bar. It must've looked good. Me walking in front and two hot chicks following. We play to see who gets the higher score, me + friend or them two. They go first, we go second and win. They ask for a rematch but want us to buy drinks if we lose. Yet they refuse to buy if we win. I bite anyway. We go first and as we are owning at the game I see that they walked away. I guess they were just drink hustlers. But I've used it before to open successfully. I guess it could be hit or miss but it's a fun way of opening.

But you're right, I was too focused on the game haha. Intention was just to open a conversation and hopefully get a number out of it.

na dude I think you are right that they were drink hustlers. If you would have let them win and bought them a drink you would have looked like an AFC and you would have been no different than those other guys.

In my opinion you should have not accepted the 2nd game under HER terms, and neg them about being 'drink hustlers' or whatever (just make sure its C&F)

I also agree that your observations were correct. Although, i think you coulda tried to get them to play for something other than drinks (something creative) if you didnt want to buy em drinks.

I like the neg em about being drink hustlers, but i also think you should have flipped the script on them especially if you had a wing on it. I would have said OK to playing them yet you needed to get a drink before you started. Go to the bar, get your drinks and step off somewhere else. Dont go directly back to them right away since you think they are trying to hustle you. Make them chase you at that point for a sec. Stop and open a set on the way back and "accidentally" forget about the first ones, this way they come to you like hey are we going to play this game or what? DHV and validating you to the new set, and you can use the game with the other HB's to set a false time constraint. Use one set against the other, especially if she was a 10. Make her jelouse that you find this set more interesting than her set.

probably the illest advice right right . . .. thats fucking awesome . . . listen to that guy that would have been perfect . .. Girls operate on jealousy and that might have worked . .. o well live and learn but thats awesome if you could have pulled this off

I like the opener, competitive sports are always a great way to break the ice. However, I would have to agree....you could have found something else to bet, or, you could have neged the shit out of her when they said they wouldnt buy you a drink if they lost. Thats bullshit. You should have said staright up, "you girls must just be drink hustlers" "let me know when you want to play fair" and straight up walk away right after saying that. You're the prize not them. In every sarge you've got to be ready to just walk away. Either way, props on the sarge, have a good backup bet ready for next time.
