Somewhat new to PU and new to the forum and as you see this is my first post here.

So here's an opener topic that has worked pretty great for me but I would like to hear what you all think and if it could be improved.

PUA - Hey guys could I get your opinion on something thats been bugging me? (pause, let them ask whats bugging me)
HB - Sure I guess, whats bothering you?
PUA - Well, it's about my neighbor. You see, in my apartment, when you look through my window, you can see right in to the apartment building right next door. (pause for effect)
HB - Oh really?
PUA - So every night, like clockwork, I can hear from over there the shower running and then sure enough, there she is, just trampsing around her apartment full on naked, I mean she is still wet, no towel, nothing. She doesn't close her blinds, I can see that she has them, she even starts doing random things around her apartment... she'll start brushing her hair... straightening up... even once she was doing the dishes... bare ass naked!!!
HB - Wow, thats odd? (usually this is when HB asks me if naked neighbor is attractive, fat, hot... etc)
PUA - YES! she is quite attractive! thats my problem! I mean, should I close MY blinds? I mean, should that be up to ME? To go out of my way to close my blinds when SHE is the one walking around naked! What would you do in my position?
HB - (most of the time they say they would close their blinds and I BUST them hard on that)
PUA - Yeah RIGHT!! You girls are worse then guys when it comes to dirty minds!! (Then go into some differences between guys and girls)

I usually make sure I only talk about this for a minute or so and change the subject and take control of the frame. I figure we could talk about it for a lot longer but if I change the subject when she is getting into it it shows that I really don't care that much about it and perhaps would be a good DHV.

This is pretty fun to talk about especially because it is a true story. I keep trying to catch my naked neighbor as she is leaving her apartment but so far I haven't run into her!!

What do you guys think??

I think it has a lot of awesome qualities. It's funny, thought provoking and humanizes you (who wouldnt look?).

It seems a bit too suggestive and weird for an opener. I'd use that while in the attraction phase (from MM) so they know you arent just a peeping Tom confessing his sins.

Thanks for the feedback and you are right, it would be much better to talk about during the attraction phase.

Feel it out by body language, if they seemed happy that you are just talking to them, I would be comfortable using it as an opener, especially if you sound up beat and fun.

Otherwise keep it in A2 or the beginning of 3
