Did this once spur of the moment and it went well.

At a check out i bought a couple things and a candy bar. When she picked up the candy bar i gave her a smile and said "that ones for you." It got a laugh. Wondering if any of you will have success with it or improve it.

I like it, its a good way to open, but it sounds like more of a polite laugh than an I'm interested.. how did you escalate from there
