I read about this one in a book when I was at Barnes & Nobles and gave it a try and it had the intended flirt/ cocky-humor effects so here it is:

Tell the girl that you want to show her a really cool trick. Tell her it involves your being able to lift your glass off the table and take a drink with one hand while she holds your arm down to prevent this from happening. She will most likely use both hands and put a lot of pressure on your arm that is holding the glass. You then look her in the eye and pick up the glass with your free arm that she is not holding down. After all you never told her which hand you were going to be using.

I did this and the girl at first rolled her eyes and then laughed because she bought into it by using all her force on my arm which I then used to neg her. and got a date out of it.

err sorry this should really be in the building comfort area. But in my defense, look at the time I posted this and I'm tired.

A similar, yet quite different, one, which I believe was posted here a while back is a bar bet that goes like this:

"I bet you that I can drink three pints/jack+cokes/daiquiris before you can drink two shots"

"Yeah, whatever"

"The rules are simple... you have to give me a one-drink start AND we're not allowed to touch each other's glasses at ANY point. Loser pays. You on?"

So she gives you your one drink head start... you finish it and place it upside down over one of her shot glasses.

"Okay, you can start now.. and remember, you're not allowed to touch my glass"

Oh.. and if a chick ever tries to trick you on this one.. play along.

At the point when she puts her glass over your shot glass, ask someone nearby to remove it for you. Works best if you have a wing on standby.

Dex that is freakin awesome. I used that tonight and got a laugh from everyone in a 5 set. My target never thought about asking anyone for help and I played it up by leaning back and sipping my drink and putting it down on the glass I set over her drink. This is a great comfort builder.
