Just an interesting thought I came across today....anyone have any good/funny openers for when you're waiting in line @ an amusement park and have a nice set behind/ in front of you?

Dude you don't need an opener for that situation. That has to be one of the easiest sets to open because

1. You are in the same line going the same place
2. People don't like waiting in line so they are more open to talking to people they haven't met.
3. Most girls are in happy mood if they are there

You could use the classic "Come here often?" in a cocky funny voice. Or you could try

You: This ride looks wild doesn't it? (point to yourself subtly)
HB: Yes, no
You: (Yes) You must be pretty outgoing then. (No) Yes, but have you been on a REAL rollercoaster before?
HB: Yea
You: Well what do you think is more intense, this ride or being in love

Then just go from there. Honestly I just pulled that out of my ass and it might or might not work. I wouldn't worry about the opener as much as what comes after that is where it comes. Anything should work in that situation[/url]

I am not sure those would work Rythms.

"Come here often" wouldn't work unless it was blatently obvious that she didn't come here that much.

"Ride looks wild" could work, but you can't follow it with-
Quote:
(Yes) You must be pretty outgoing then. (No) Yes, but have you been on a REAL rollercoaster before?
Neither of those are interesting response to her answer. Especially the Yes response. She would lose interest right there.

Also, you can't ask
Quote:
Well what do you think is more intense, this ride or being in love
Cheeseball factor shoots up real high there.

Come here often is meant to be sarcastic. It's not meant to be taken literally. I disagree. If you ask if she is outgoing then you can use that to your advantage on negging her or just to find out more info on her. As for the last line....cheeseball? I guess so....it's a transition from one topic to another that is more serious. Don't knock it till you tried it......
