I feel canned openers are meant to be more of a guideline than an actual script, even for newbies (like myself). The past couple times I've gone sarging, I've noticed that reciting openers like a script either lacks personality (coming off as a dry), or it feels too forced and you end up losing interest in your own story, so the set loses interest in you. Maybe I'm wrong here, I haven't been part of the community for long, it just doesn't feel right trying to deliver a script by the book. How do you guys feel about canned openers?
