I'm going to Vegas later this week for business but will have plenty of time to hang out by the pool (staying at The Palms). Wanted to get some advice for approaching women in this area (openers, techniques, etc)? I'm nothing special with my shirt off (I'm a little flabby and very hairy chested, tho I am considering getting the laser surgery to have that removed); does this hurt my approach? Thanks.

I feel a little differently about it, i believe that as a pick-up artist you have to improve your whole quality of life, meaning dont think about getti laser hair removal................do it, and as for working out, do that too because it will make you feel great and allow your skin to "glow" im brown skinned and i have a red underglow which makes me look healthy. i wouldnt open with something negative about yourself, say that your insecure is not all that attractive in A1 you might get into that in building confort

Well it's only a +1 that I'm allowed, so idk about bringing 2 girls but maybe I can somehow pull off 1. I've really never picked up a girl using this stuff before so maybe you can give me an idea of how this whole initial pool conversation should go from start to finish? Also, what if the girl is in a multiple-set? How do I isolate her to extend the invite?

Then you are in. You can start a conversation right from there. And you started with a simple neg that shows you are not going to be like the other guys and stare and make comments about how hot she is. I use this all the time at the beach and pools and it works great to start a conversation. Plus you get the added bonus of throwing her off a bit and making her feel insecure about her breast size.

What % of the time am I getting slapped here? I'm kind of looking not to get beat up right in front of the pool lol. I may try it though if I can get over the whole AA thing (I've never so much as tried this stuff anywhere and now my 1st test is a Vegas resort pool; talk about jumping in the deep end). Any other opening pool gambits? Also, what are some FTC's I can use pool side (esp if I'm going alone)?

ANd what do I do about getting 1 girl who in a group to come to this party with me? The invite for me clearly says I can only bring 1 person, and I'd hate to show up with a group and say that all but 1 can't get in. So how do I just invite one of them?

Have you read any books? Double your dating by David D? The Mystery Method? Anything? You can't just jump into the pool (pun intended) after reading a few things on this site. You have to get the books, learn the material, practice it over and over again on real women, then put it to use. If you plan on just showing up to Vegas and pulling hot girls after reading some of the advice on this website you are gonna fail over and over again. The best thing to do is go to David D website and pay the $20 for his book and download in PDF format.

I've been reading articles and watching videos I've found online for about 6 weeks now. It's not a book or anything but it's certainly more than just the "off the street afc" u seem to give me credit for (educational wise).

Good confidence boost though.

I havent spent much time at the pool due to work but have failed pretty hard in my 2 attempts so far. Advice is wanted:

1. Standing at edge of pool w/ my friend and his gf. I'm mentioning to them a story about how I met a girl who told me she had a friend named Jenna Fischer who was very plain looking, but that I'd go out with her anyway just b/c of her name (which is prob true b/c I'm in love w/ Jenna Fischer from the Office).

As I'm telling them this story, an HB9 blonde swims by and I say, "Lets get someone else'e opinion on this...excuse me..." and I tell her the story and ask if she would ever date a plain looking guy named Tom Cruise? She was pretty rude in the tone of her response. She said she would never do that and that I was crazy for saying I would. Her friend then comes over and I ask her and she says I should "read a book or something." Not sure what that means. She then says have u ever seen the movie, "He's Just Not That Into You," which may or may not have been an attempt of hers to put me down (they were both being very rude at this point). I then said something to the effect of, "Oh yeah, Jennifer Aniston was in that. I would date any girl named Jennifer Aniston, even you." My friends both laughed at that but the girls seemed indifferent, so we said good day. Was I right to eject or was there something I could've done?

2. Today, there's these 2 girls (one was an 8.5, the other was an 8ish) standing on the edge of the pool. As I'm trying to think of an opener from my chair, they get out of the pool and sit in the chairs like 3 or 4 over from mine (they already had their stuff there). At this point, I decide to leave my stuff and ask them to watch my stuff for 5 mins while I go to my room. I come back a few minutes later (I was basically just stalling in my room) and tell them my roommate locked himself out of our room and I had to go be the hero and let him in (a complete lie). The 8 was reading her book, but the 8.5 I was talking to was laughing. I then asked her how much money she stole from me while I was gone; again she laughs (not too hard tho, might've just been a polite laugh). I then said I don't normally trust strangers (meant this as a neg) with valuable things. She was still laughing a little and smiling, but I was just completely out of material at this point and decided to eject rather than stand there awkwardly. They left the pool 10 minutes later.

What should I have said next? Was I right to eject when my well ran dry? Was there possibly a way I could've re-opened them after going back to my chair?
