Today I go to lunch with some of my coworkers and I notice a somewhat decent guy and since I read the MM book and wasted too much time browsing these forums, I wanted to have some fun with it.

The guy was talking to his other friends and completely avoiding my side of the table so not to bore you with the replay of the convo, but I got his attention by nagging the hell out of him (he was pretty pissed off but it worked b/c I had ALL of his attention.) Eventually the entire table picked up my lead and began to nag him so the entire lunch hour I just got these awesome looks from him implying a mixture of pleasure and anger. In the meantime, I did a pretty decent job with the eye contract/mirroring his body language.

Towards the end of lunch I steer the convo back in my direction by mentioning paintball which he gets super-excited about and says that he doesn't play anymore and that he'd like to but his GF isn't into it (they just started dating very recently I believe).

Ends with

HB: Yea, maybe I'll set something up and make sure to invite yo.... *pause* everyone here.

The dude is a pretty big AFC - he took his gf ice-skating. Cute.

But game is game, and with work - can't get too flirty, sexual, suggestive, etc. Also, there's a new GF in the picture. I know there are BF destroyers, so I'm guessing they would work the same way pretty much?

I figured I might as well post this, in case there others who are limited by the constraints of appropriate office behavior.

Next steps for strategy with flying in under the radar??

* Taking into account ethics, I don't actually plan on breaking up the GF. I would probably just end be-friending him eventually, but I figure I'd practice a little game before hand and create a more special connection.
