So I'm sure there are a few folks out there who are having a hard time making up their own openers and are still using things they read in a book or saw on youtube etc.

Here's some tips on how to make good, interesting openers:

1) make them about what women like

You see women talking about shoes and purses don't you? Learn about shoes and purses, and then ask them straight up:

"Is that a Coach purse? I was thinking about getting one for my sister for her birthday, are they any worse than a Mark Jacobs?"

Yes, you may sound a bit gay, this is not bad, it is a perfect way to disarm that bitch shield.

2) make your opener about a distracting situation:

"I just saw someone get their porsche towed out back, they were in front of a fire hydrant, it was the funniest thing ever. I wouldn't park in front of a fire hydrant. . ."

3) create an opener based on a value judgement of the current situation

"This place is kind of off to me tonight, what nights are good here? <answer> Know of any places with a more electric feel?"

So here's a challenge for you all, right up ten new openers and try them out this weekend. See how you do with them and make an FR on it.

I also wonder at what you folks think about sharing openers, I'm kind of hush hush about my stuff only because I don't want to be at a club and see a guy using any of my lines. Do you all feel this is a healthy or unhealthy attitude?
