It seems difficult after about 12 midnight because girls have already been approached a zillion times and perhaps abit fed up; people have therefore met and formed their own sets with those they like; bitch shields seemed to be raised (moreso the later it gets) and everyone is more drunk.

So, when would you say is the optimum time to open sets?

And is it better to walk in later, say 10-11pm then sarge the whole place or get their early and sarge sets as they enter the venue?

Good questions Para! I'll try my best to answer them.

I always say it's good to get to the venue a little early. I don't know about your club but my place doesn't get really busy until about 11:30 or 12:00. I usually make it a point to arrive at about 11. This gives me time to do my rounds saying Hi to the hired guns I know, establish my social proof, and start opening sets. It's busy enough I can roll from group to group without any problem.

When I've pulled or done with the room I bounce home or to another venue nearby.

If I got there at 10 it would be somewhat busy but I'd run out of sets and find myself standing around eventually. Not saying this is the "best" way but it works for me really well.

It seems that girls are a have a slightly tougher bitch shield after midnight. Maybe it's all the bad approaches, or the drinking that gets them up a bit. Who knows... It doesn't mean you can't approach and get the girl after midnight it just means you have to expect to deal with a little more shit. If you don't then great!

Let's say they are pissed for all those bad approaches. What a relief you are going to be when you go in there with your knowledge and sweep her off her feet.

I would say that it doesn't really matter when you meet people but instead how you do it. If you have the mindset that it's harder to get to know people after lets say midnight then that will effect your subcommunication and show of to the girl you meet. The only thing that I have noticed is that my own game becomes crap AFC when I'm drunk because then I'm not me anymore. When I'm myself I can open pretty much anyone. I pretty much never get a "bitchy" answer from a girl when I'm sober but when I have been drinking then what you call "bitch shields" are up. Therefore I try not to drink that much. After midnight hotties still approach me. Last time when I went home with a cute hottie was near closing times when I was sitting with a friend and his girl at a sofa. A dark haired hottie come and sit besides me on the edge of the sopha. Not long after that she just placed her legs above me and was clearly very attracted. Talk about direct! You can imagine the rest for yourself... So it doesn't really matter at all at what time you enter a club. The only thing you need is the right mindset.
