I thought it is good, as it allows easy transistion and has a FTC built in to it, but does it give the impression of being needy, as I am alone?
Any tweaks before i field test it this weekend?

I'm not contesting the opener, just the frame and the wording of it. If you ask her that she's gonna instantly know what you're trying to do. work on the wording of it otherwise you're gonna come across as try-hard.

I would suggest for now just focusing on the purpose find some thing not so great about he and compliment her on it any way. You can always ask where she got her shoes for example since you're xmas shopping for your sister. I think your open will make you seem like a creep.
