This has worked great for me as an opener but can be thrown at anytime when you wanna pull off for some minutes.

What I do is I ask a girl if I can "borrow" a cigarette from her. I light it up and tell her I'll give it back to her later, as I walk away with a smile. A few minutes later if I wanna start a conversation with her, I come with the fag and handle to her, which will neg her and make her laugh.
