i am going to a friends big party co-workers and shit, the works. Only thing is i dont know what type of SPAM its gonna be (like club,chill relax etc.)
im guessing its gonna be a about 50 peeps that everyone knows, frm work or somehow...my thing is, im drawing a blank on how to open, how to move on from opening etc.
if you could help me out would be great!

Well i normally start party's with an opener that opens an entire group of people.
After getting their reaction, i leave, get a drink and come back re-positioning myself next to the girl i got my eye on.
I then open with another opener but directed either at her OR her and another person or two.
Then i DHV, cocky humour and find out whether or not she has a boyfriend.
A good way to figure that out is ask her something that will make her reply in a way with attitude/cockyness, then just say.
":o thats not very nice, i dont know who your boyfriend is but he obviously doesnt spank you enough"
that should generally make her say "i dont have a boyfriend" or some shit like that. Just remember to be yourself and have fun, im just giving you an example of what i do/have done at a party.

Before you consider the actual content of your opener, consider the aspects of your surroundings - you say that you dont know what type of SPAM it is. If its posh - then you are going to need a different kind of opener. Cut out the swearing unless your emphasisng something or your gonna sound common. Consider your dialect, register etc.
If you dont manage to find out the class of it, where its set etc, make sure you wear something that could pass off anywhere.
Just find out the details. If its posh and not at a club id definately stay indirect. Some more info would be nice. And we could tell you more.
