just did this with a friend and it gave me an idea... im tired and i dont know if this idea sucks or not.

me: hey, want some coffee
her: sure
me: great, espresso for me.
her: huh? what?
me: oh, you wanted me to go with you? cute =)

[she has a sick coffee machine thing, so its not like i'm sending her to the shops... yet..]

so now my idea was, if i get some decent approach invitations at a bar, can i use it and just sub the coffee with a drink? i have a feeling that its still too AFC but i think that if you have a playful cocky vibe that it might work.

and if it cant be used as an opener, can it be used a bit later on, maybe as a way to isolate? i'm still at her place, studying on my laptop and i've noticed a slight change since i said it to her but i dont know if its just all in my mind. i've known her for ages and i suddenly got 3 IOI's.

I can flat out say that it isn't a very engaging opener, I mean you are going to need a good follow up after that, other than that it is good... this opener IMO, really depends on how you deliver it though, if you don't have the right amount of energy or confidence it, and enough smile to make her think you were just messing with her it could go downhill pretty fast.

yeah, thats what i thought it would need quite a playful, cocky delivery.
i'm going to do some more thinking though, see what i can follow up with.

and im going to try use it for isolation next time im in field.
