I think ones that arent opinion openers might work better, as opinion openers are so common now i think

I am more in ease in a college party than in a bar. They called my tea mug, because in a party where people have alot of beer and alcohol, I had a tea mug in my hand and I was drinking it in that CROWDY block party. Usually in parties you get introduce by friends.

If she's a hot girl, you may want to guess her major. I know alot of girls in the music school because my roommate was in the music school, so usually hotter, and girls who take better care of themselves are in Business, Law or psychology. It is a 33% chance of hitting it right for me. Engineering girls have little or no style or makeup.

Opinion Openers in my opinion work great for newbies especially because it widens the amount of conversation that can be created from the question. It allows the PUA to pick up a certain part to the persons response and go out from there either negging the target or DHVing and so fourth and can also lead to other opinions and DHV stories.
