I notice the girl who is least attractive in the set and start chatting to her first thus freezing out my target. However the last couple of times it didn't pay off.
To clear things up,an example from last night. I was out with friends and I opened a 4 set 2HB9's, HB8 and HB6. I opened with something then said a couple of things to HB9 then turned my attention to HB6, as they said she lived here. As I was talking to her, I noticed my back was completely turned to the target HB9. Didn't stay in set long as my friend HB8 said we have to go. As I left I felt it would've been hard to pick up target HB.
So my question is this; Should obstacles/lower HB's be engaged first to disarm the other HB's Bitch Shield, or only have primary attention if they intervene during a set?

Dont focus all your attention on the least attractive one, you need to engage the whole set.
If there is one of them that clearly takes control of her group (the mother hen) you will have to win her over first, as she will do everything she can to stop you isolating the target if she doesn't like you.
Basically your main error here is by not engaging the whole group and only focusing on the HB6 it looked like you were hitting on her. _________________ Note to self: Reffering to Chief by something other than his name has the knock on effect of strolling into the chat room and being asked; 'Crumpetberry are you a single hippie looking for a man'
