there is this girl in one of my classes, we never talked, we had eye contact though, and it seemed that she was interested in me. but i was too shy to make an approach. i got her facebook and classes are over now and the facebook is the only thing i got. but i dont even have her as a friend on facebook... but how can i make an approach now? i really want to get to know this girl better. thanks

Thanks for the message drawing my attention to this. I would go with a modified version of Whoopie's Facebook opener here because it's fun and playful. I'm not sure how old you are so I'm trying to do something universal here. I'm guessing your in High School.

On Facebook poke her.

When she pokes back then message her.

"Didn't your parents ever teach you it isn't polite to poke people. If a stranger slapped you on the butt would you slap them back?"

Make sure to include the smiley so she knows you're being playful and not being an asshole. Also, you are establishing a fun and playful tone to go from here. Once you have her talking you can take it anywhere. There is too much situational stuff to tell you step by step, but you're going to have to do things to start building attraction in what you say to her after you get her talking.

Her reply will determine a lot of what goes on from this point.

you might as well just message her and say:

"hey i found your facebook. i know you've been eyeing me all quarter/semester, so gimme gimme gimme your number!"



jokes aside, you missed your chance son. there's no way you can get at that without coming off as a freak. unless you see her around again, there is no approach you stalker.

take this failure as a lesson learned; use the 3 second rule next time
