ok i used this opener at a local service station, but im sure it will work at ANY place that sells gift cards or anything

i was standing in the gift card section of a service station and a hb8 was there aswell, i was lookin for a bday card but decided to do something funny, it was an 18th party so i picked out 2 cards that made no sense (happy aniversary, and congratulations its a boy) anyways heres what happened

ME: hey can i get ur take on something?

HB: yea sure

ME: ok..its my m8s 18ths birthday 2night, and instead of gettin him a usual happy birthday card, i wanted to get him something totally random that would make him laugh, so i chose these two cards (held up the 2 cards)

HB8: Laughs alot

ME: yea i know, totally pointless but i was gonna write something like, "sorry m8 couldnt find a birthday card so found the next best thing", what do u think, would he laugh?

HB8: yeaa id piss myself if some1 did that

ME:..woah i dont need to know about your bladder problems haha, anyways which 1 do you suggest? the (described 1 card) or the (described the other 1) and why?

HB8: blah blah blah

NOTE* all through the convo i had strong body language (feet shoulder length apart, straight back, eye contact, and a slight smirk)

so yea anyways after i got her opinion some negging opportunity's arose, dropped in a DHV story about where the party was (really exclusive club and get vip entry regularly), after a few mins, we walked over to the counter, i payed for the card (ended up being CONGRATULATIONS its a boy one lol) and ended up #closing , did this yesterday but didnt have time to call 2day, so callin 2mozz

so what do u guys think bout the opener! still new to pua so feedback would be appreciated

... loved this opener, its so simple and can be used at any time, regardless of a friends birthday or not.

Like in my case, on saturdays my friends and I always go clubbing, simply tell the chick to meet up with my friends and I at which ever club and bring some friends of her own to join our little get together...

I will use this as soon as I pick a target in a card section...

The only negative thing I can think of is that you're still sort of asking for her to verify you by asking "can I get your take". Perhaps instead you could've jumped right in: "Hey it's my mate's 18th tonight… etc… so (sort of an IOI) which card do you think he'd like the most?"
