Then staretd with "mates gf kissed me" which went well, then when i moved to "movie recommendation" she said she doesnt watch movies, so i negged her, then i tried to phase shift to "what would your friend tell me about u" when she said "Woah, we better stop the conversation right here!"

I think I was being to forward, maybe showing too much interest.
Also in this approach i forgot a time constraint, I think thats why it went tits up!

From what I can see, she might have thought you were too scripted. She did call you a salesman, after all. I think she could see you were going through a rehearsed routine (like a salesman).

A lot of people have seen Mystery, Style, and the others on television. Their secret techniques aren't all that secret anymore.

I'd actually avoid a lot of the well-known stories and routines. Negging, social proofing, pivots, etc. are all still useful, since they're basically just concepts. If the woman has seen any of those PUA shows, though, she'll recognize what you're doing almost immediately once you launch into a story.
