Last night I tried a new strategy for opening. Tons of old ladies were trying to sell roses for $5 so I haggled and got one for $1. Then I would just walk up to a group of girls and ask them to buy it. They almost unanimously said no, but I was in. I tried to run some routines but I hadn't planned that far ahead and spent too much time talking about the rose. Many girls said "you're supposed to buy ME a rose" but obviously I'm not going to lower my value by giving roses away to every girl (also can't afford that).

Any ideas on how to refine this idea and make it a good opener? I was thinking I could suggest a game where they could win it???

Anyway I eventually did sell the rose to a guy who was with a girl for $2 so I actually made money on the deal! and talked to alot of girls
