i was in a shoe shop in my town today and i was speaking with an HB 9 shop attendant who was very friendly. we were only talking about shoes however she started smiling for no reason in the middle of this conversation which i took as an IOI. i left the shop.... mistake.
so heres my line for tomorrow when i go into the shop.... ill say:
Me: im disappointed...
her: why?
Me: because when i was in here yesterday i gave you plenty of opportunity to ask me to go for a coffee after work, but obviously you're too shy...
unfortunately im busy tonight so why dont i give you my number and we can go out another time?
any thoughts? being this forward is a big step for me, if it doesnt work im going to feel like a tool. also what should i say if a girl tells me she has a boyfriend? any funny lines i can use?

Say 'i think we should exchange numbers...'
And after you have # closed remember to make alittle conversation before you leave.
Nothing springs to mind at the minute but if i think of a funny line i'll like you know. _________________ To effectively communicate, we must realise that we are all different in the way we percieve the world and use this understanding as a guide to our communication with others.
