Figuring out when to eject from a set is of interest to me. There are lots of examples of sets gone well, but none gone bad; I'd like to see failure from other successful artists, in order to learn from that, too.

I heard one PUA say to spend just a few minutes, to weed out those which aren't receptive, but I'd like to know if there's a better, or different, way.

Just how much disinterest is sufficient?
