Hello guys,
Everytime I have the courage to go talk to a certain girl at school, I always find myself thinking up an excuse to go talk to her. If, for example, she wasn't dressed up at the carnival, I would have an excuse to go up to her and crack a joke about how she wasn't dressed up. It is a weak example but you get the point. If I have nothing to talk to her about, then I don't know how to approach and start a conversation. Also I have never approached her when she was with her friends. In the breaks, when I see her, she is usually surrounded by them.
Although I got rejected for asking her to the movies (she has a boyfriend), she still keeps eyeing and smiling at me in the hallways. She has been doing this for 1.5 years. Whenever I would talk to her we would hold very strong eye contact and laugh at weak jokes. I was getting clear IOIs.
I'm asking you guys for help. How do I approach and start a conversation? Do I build rapport and then use a boyfriend destroyer?
All help will be appreciated,
Klassik
Hey, when you deal with an opener, make sure to pay attention to all except the mark. Say something like, "can I get your opinions on something?" And make sure to ask something worthy of time. Don't listen to her response, and keep a 45° angle to her so you can shut her out and keep your weight bouncing on your back foot to let her know you will be out of grasp soon. If she make a point to be heard, give her a neg. ("Wow, calm down, I'm asking everyone else too") Show something to her boyfriend and entertain them for a few minutes. Then show a little attention to her and leave. Not too much; play as the string for the cat to try and get. Let her know that you don't have to have her. She wants attention, but once you give it to her, you lost her.
