Sounds like what happened during project hollywood! style ran into this more often than he thought he would. Just reply with.

"Im sorry but I have no clue what your talking about" and look puzzled as can be.

All I can really think of. Play innocent its just another bitch test.

Method 1
Her: "Nice try. You stole that line from 'The Game'"
You: "OMG 'The Game'. My friend suggested I read that book. Do you think that stuff actually works?"

Then you can have a fun conversation about Game

Method 2
Her: "Are you using pick-up lines right now?"
You: (smiling and sarcastic) "Don't flatter yourself now young lady!" (you say this jokingly as if you could do so much better than her)....Then stack to the next routine

No matter what you say, don't let her comment affect your facial expressions, body language, tone of voice, etc...Just like Call Me Z said, it's just another bitch test

An even easier solution is to avoid this altogether by using a direct approach or a situation opener.
A little creativity never hurts.

I would agree that the opinion openers is real 2008ish. This is an every day changing culture. And you are right, to some extent most single men are using PUA tactics although most the real naturals you never will see on a message board.
