Now I know a lot of you guys will probably slate this approach and I am not saying depend on it but it is a great little tool.

I have just recently got into this pick up stuff properly after about year of sitting on the fence reading books. Ages ago when I was watching a TV show I saw somebody demonstrate how pretty much anybody will take an object your are offering them if you pass it straight to their body, around where the solarplexus is.

Over the last few weeks I have been pushing myself out there to just approach, whenever I could. One approach that seems to have worked wonders is when I am heading over to the bar or the bathroom and I stop with an innocuous opener like "hey, whats your name" and then after around 30 seconds of light banter (if that) I will pass my phone into them (very assumptive) and say "listen my friends are just leaving but let me grab your number". In a lot of cases they just grab it and start typing

Then it moves onto text game. Which I am very hot and cold with.

On an aside from that for one week I was on crutches and that was great as they always remembered me, it is worth thinking about placing something memorable into the conversation to latch onto in the follow ups.

Does anybody else have any joy with this trick? I have had a few dates with it.

I think it's a good one but because it was such a short interaction she really doesn't know who you are. It could lead to a lot of flakey numbers (unless you're awesome at text game which I am not, I use it just to setup dates).

It could also make for some laughs when they don't know how to use your phone (tends to happen when an iOS user tries to use an Android or vice versa lol)

True dat, that why it was useful I had the crutches as we were joking that she couldnt remember what I looked like. Haha, thats a sure fire flake out in most cases.

Look for "put your number in my phone" on Youtube, Those guys took this idea a step further.
