Take her on a hike. Obviously the better the scenery the better the date, but that should not be your main focus. Take her to a memorable location, top of a cliff, clearing, close to a river, you get the idea. Then, while there, work on a routine for mediation and energy, get her to focus on the nature around her, her inner energy, or any other meditation technique (these ideas can be found in book stores). This will be come certainly out of the norm and get her attention. If she is into it, than the experience could be more intimate. If she thinks it's silly, turn it into a joke and have a good laugh. Either way, it will be something that she has never done before.

Note: location is not extremely important, but the more interesting the scenery, the better the memory and the experience.

Go for something cheap and make it fun.

Just like you don't want to end up buying her drinks at a bar, you shouldn't be shelling out for anything expensive for the date. It demonstrates lower value. You’re trying too hard to buy her instead of asking yourself what she craves, and making that a reality for her. Does she want to feel more intellectually challenged, or is she bogged down with real life and wants to remember how to giggle?

Where you go on the date really doesn't matter as much as what reality you create from there. Even a repressive and silent museum can be used to tap into the naughty kid vibe and have her giggling behind her well-polished nails while disapproving tour guides look on.

Try taking her to a completely neutral location. A park or a mall. Then run her through the paces. Have an intellectual conversation on a blanket or over coffee in the food court. Play on the swings or try on outrageous hats in a store.

Usually it’s a good idea to have your second venue set up and introduced at the first meet. You should peak her interest in some way about the idea, and she’ll be less likely to flake.
