I would definetly not use any enviornmental opener at all. Don't ask about what's going on in the room or anything of that nature. This is where you get to use your ability to make up a story to get the girl's attention. Ask if she say the fight outside or something of that nature, or the party where the cops arrested a lot of people on campus. Be creative, be interesting, and be funny!
