Location: Hoboken no jokin' | | I spend a lot of time in the subways and buses. It seems like everyone these days has something with music stuck in their ears and it kills my ability to grab attention.
Anyone have some good ideas on how to open with a girl who has the iPod goin? The simple thing to do is just tap her shoulder or wave.

Posts: 283 | | Simply ask her to remove her head phones off with hand gesture ... then go direct "I think you are cute ... blah blah blah".
If you want to desensitize yourself ... go around a busy area and ask for directions (even if you don't need it) ... to people who have head phones on or even peeps talking on the phone.
See how people are very polite to remove their head phones.

Location: Hoboken no jokin' | | Makes sense considerign my own demeanor. Seems like the only time I get approached by god freaks and hobos is when my hood is up. I guess I should take a lesson. I think the biggest obstacle was the thought that I may come off rude. I know, its silly.
