I'm a newbie to this but I don't get rejected often, so I'm not sure if what I experienced was a flat-out rejection or just a shit-test. I'm inclined to think the former. But anyway, Ill try and be as objective as possible:

-my friend and i are at a bar
-we notice two girls looking our way (blonde and her pudgy friend)
-before an approach of any kind i made eye contact with the blonde 2-3 times (unless i was completely off and she was looking at my friend)
-pudgy friend tries to inconspicously inch her and blonde over to us and starts dancing on my friend (leaves the blonde and I by ourselves)
-blonde moves forward a bit and we start dancing (still at least a foot away from each other though)
-I open my palm to take her hand, she takes it (holds it for like 3 seconds), and then pulls it away saying she only likes dancing with herself
-I'm taken aback but i assume it's fine to dance w/o kino (def lost some confidence here)
-she's still dancing but she takes her drink and cheers it with her gay friend sitting down to the side of her (seems like there were like 3 others frineds sitting down)
-a few more seconds of dancing, she stops, repeats that she only wants to dance with herself
-at this point she's standing, body is still facing me, drink in hand (like stirring the fucking straw) but her face is looking in the direction of my friend and her pudgy friend dancing
-i get annoyed and say "it's alright, we all have our...issues." didn't scream it, said it very cooly
-She takes a step back, looks at me and says "Issues?!"
-I smile, say "Yeah" and walk away

Pretty sure I got flat-out rejected. But am not sure why she didn't just walk over to her friends sitting down or just tell me she wasn't interested. Please help a newb out.

Edit: Just to be clear... I just want to know if this was a rejection or if i was getting tested at all. A lot of guys were hitting on the blonde that night

why didn't you try to talk to her?

look at it this way, this girl is dancing with a stranger. she doesn't want to look like a whore. if you talk to her and build comfort, then she will trust you more and will be more open to kino and more.

She's sounds like a typical fag-hag, bar-slut, cock-teasing, attention whore, tramp. She sends out vibes to attract guys, then she can reject them in front of her entourage and go back to them and tell them how all these guys are trying to hit on her in order to increase her social value.

"I only like to dance with myself?" That's like going to a crowded bar and someone tries to talk to you and you tell them to be quiet and say: "I only like to talk to myself."

Yes, it's a rejection/iod or whatever, but you have to keep in mind girls like these are seasoned attention whore bar-fly types and they will toy with most of the guys who hit on them.
