Not like I have anything against negs, i love them, i use them when appropriate specially opening and meeting a girl, however once you start dating a girl you were negging in order to make her urs or whatever, dont abuse it too much. A friend of mine is a great and intelligent guy, very funny, and always good with girls. Ladies are always attracted to him, I dont know what it is, sometimes I just think that he is simply natural like one of the Style's friends in the Game. So my friend started dating this girl, an absolute beauty, and as my friend's nature he'd alwyas neg her and make little fun of her (though loving), in front of his and her friends. I also think it depends on a girls' personality, because most of his previous gfs loved it, since all the negs always made everyone laugh. After going out with this hb for like a month, she didnt want see him anymore, and as i found out later from her, it was all because he would always neg her and her friends making everyone laugh, though putting his own gf in an uncomfortable situation, shy, let down, etc... I think she just felt a little insecure around him.
In a relationship id still neg my gf making those funny/cocky coments, but with caution, first estimating the place and time, as well as people that surround us.

I completely agree I read a lot of posts where it seems people go overboard with negging. You just do this originally to not telegraph any interest in the target. Once you have your IOIs it's time to turn the negs off and move to A3 where you can show her interest. Sure some push-pull or bait-hook-release is okay but negging at this stage typically isn't needed. All that is really needed her is just treating IODs with IODs.

I agree I think some guys get on a roll with the neg thing and just keep going. Once you have gotten your IOI's and expecially once your in C1 you should stop negging her (although push pull is good) and discurage her from picking on you (freeze outs).
