So theres this girl and i have never talked to her. She is in two of my classes and has no boyfriend. she is really smart and i dont know what to do. Oh yea and her locker is close to mine. I never had a first kiss or girlfriend and she is perfect. how should i start talking to her. please dont say "hey i couldnt help but notice how cute you are" or anything similar. i my first goal is get the number( her cell phone number). any advice.

Ok hears the deal. She is not perfect. If you act like she is and treat her like she is she wont like you. You kinda need to treat her like a person. She does not think she is perfect and has her own doubts. When and if you go up to her and treat her like she special she will get all squeamish and also not respect you. You need to treat her like shes your little bratty sister. Have some fun with her and play. Dating and attraction is a game of push and pull. If its just a game of push push push she will not want to play.

Put a note on her locker. Write to it:


"Hi! This is from your locker neighbor. I think you are a perfect girl for me.
Could you write your number on this note so that I can call you and ask you out?"

Seriously, I think you need to get over it and be spontaneous. Next time you are both on your lockers at the same time tap her on the shoulder lightly and smile. That should start a nice and friendly interaction and starts the sexual tension.

Im in highschool also and the key for me is to get them laughing and up to you. This should be extremely easy for you since her locker is right by yours. Just make jokes about things going on in the halls and kind maks fun of her but not in,a mean way.

Then look her in the eye (not with your eyes popped wide open like you saw a ghost), maybe squint just a little (don't look excited) and be like "hey I'm going to get a slice (pizza) at the XYZ after school, meet me there" (even better if you and some buddies go there) or "give me your number so I can get the homework answers off of you", "I usually go roller skating/bungee jumping/ballroom dancing/bowling on saturdays, and I need another person, wanna go?".

Yeah and don't put her on a pedestal, that's the fastest way to fvck it up. Every time I put them on a pedestal I screw it up. Don't start envisioning future stuff (which you are already doing). Just meet a girl, invite her to do something, and see if you like her. (think of it that way).
