| So just about everyone suffers from approach anxiety, and there are plenty of threads about it and about different openers.
This thread is more about your mindset when you walk into a pub/bar/nightclub and how you get rid of your approach anxiety?
Personally I do not have any problems these days with approaching others (Yes I still get nervous but I know how to handle it in a way that works for me) I am just curious as to how others tackle the issues and maybe in sharing this information it might help out some newer PUAs.
So my mindset for when I walk into a place is always like this...
I am a god, I am the guy everyone in here wants to meet, I am the guy everyone here wants to be, I am master chief in Halo, I am Snake in Metal gear solid, I am Samuel L Jackson in pulp fiction, I am Yoda in Star wars, I am Darren brown, Dynamo and Harry Potter in the magical world, I am barney stinson in How I met your mother.
I do not care if I pull tonight or not, I do not care if I have sex tonight or not, I am here to have fun, I am here to enjoy myself, I am here to let other people see how awesome I am, I am here to meet new people, I do not care if they are hot or not, I do not care if they are a man or woman, I am here to let them meet me. I am a legend amongst my friends and soon I will be a legend amongst these people.
As for when I start to feel approach anxiety I get rid of it by thinking...
Yes I saw a target, no I am not going to approach her instead I am walking to the toilet/bar and as I walk past I am going to say hello or an opener to my side I do not care if I get a response or not.
Or I think..
opening means nothing, it is just a chance for them to meet me, opening does not mean I have to sleep with this person, yes they are attractive but I dont care because I am hotter and better looking than them and I am a legend that is giving them a chance to meet me.
What are your tricks/mindsets for handling approach anxiety?
