OK I've just started going infield, but I only can talk to girls who are alone because it kinda makes sense to tell them they are cute and I wanted to meet them. But...
1)What do I do if she's with her friend(s) ? Talk to both of them ? How do I approach the group, what do I say ? I somehow believe if she's in a group this will reduce my chances dramatically.
2)I see a lot of girls talking on the phone. I generally am this nice shy guy so its awkward for me to tell her "put the phone down, the boss is here" with authority. Also there is no demo on the internet on how to do this, or so I think...Do you guys approach girls who are on the phone ?

You always want your first impression to be a good one, so I'd wait it out until she's finished on the phone but ensuring you're not loitering or coming off creepy - So I too would engage the friends first if its possible.

Personally, if it was me on the phone and a HB interrupted me, I've got to say I wouldn't be that impressed by the interruption no matter what her intentions were and would find it inconsiderate.

I know this wasn't asked, but if she's just sending a text to somebody, it should be ok to interupt her.

Easy. Go up to her while pecking into your phone. You match her distracted/disinterest in the outside world with your own. I always do that when I'm with a girl and she starts fucking with her phone too much. I get on mine and go to espn or something and pretend like I've lost interest in her. Generally the people will realize how annoying it is when they see you doing what they themselves are doing, and they'll knock it off and begin talking to you normally.
