After a night of embarrassingly bad sarging. Ejecting prematurely, sarging while grumpy etc etc. I have realized that one of the keys to opening and staying in the set is the energy levels.
Anyone can open. You can even look sad or concerned while opening but it will only get you so far. To keep the interest and transition successfully, you got to have a slightly higher energy level than they do. Sometimes a guy wearing a smile when opening equals hitting on them to some girls.

My solution to this.
Walking in the club (wear a smile)!
Open over the shoulder (I used the "do I look gay" opener which is most genuine if you look concerned, gets you in under the radar).
Hopefully they say no (NOW is the time to get the big grin back and increase your energy levels!).

You're right I noticed that the past several times that I've been out. If my energy levels are up then I'm doing good! You are so right on Ezo!
